Welcome to Colorado Association of Libraries!
The Colorado Association of Libraries (CAL) is the common bond, voice, and power for the library community. We are united to advocate for quality library services, support access to information, and foster the professional development of our members.
LIBRARY RESOURCES COMPILED BY CAL
(as of 2.24.21 12:00 pm MST)
Check back regularly for updates.
The Colorado Association of Libraries (CAL) understands that not everyone has access to a computer or internet, which in turn creates an obstacle to signing up for the COVID vaccine. Visiting a library gives you free access to these resources.
CAL has requested information from libraries across the state and compiled a list of responses because we want to help you remove obstacles to signing up for the vaccine. This list provides the names of libraries that have shared their information with CAL and their pertinent resources, including:
- if the library is open to the public,
- whether or not an appointment is needed to enter the library (and if so, how appointments are made),
- if the library has access to free Internet to the public (and if so, if that access is available in the parking lot), and
- whether or not a library card is required in order to access computers.
These are self-help resources. Library staff are not able to complete the vaccine sign-up for patrons. Additionally, masks must be worn properly during the entirety of any visit to a Colorado library.
