Partner with Colorado Parks and Wildlife to spread awareness of the $14 Centennial State Park Pass

Partner with Colorado Parks and Wildlife to spread awareness of the $14 Centennial State Park Pass to eligible low-income Colorado families. Promote this program through your channels in the following ways:

  1. Access their digital toolkit for social sharing posts, videos or downloading a poster.
  2. Using the toolkit, please post on your social channels, include a blurb in an email, or hang up a poster in your community.
  3. Spread the word amongst your community about this offer and help educate about how to receive the Centennial Pass.

This annual state parks pass is available from Colorado Parks and Wildlife offices and state parks if the pass purchaser qualifies with one of the following.

  1. Current enrollment in one of the following programs:
    1. Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF)
    2. Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC)
    3. Health First Colorado (Colorado’s Medicaid program)
    4. Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
    5. Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR)
    6. Low-income Energy Assistance Program (LEAP).
  2. U.S. Federal Tax form is at or below the income requirement:
    Form 1040 line 15 or Form 1040-SR line 15.

  3. A signed affidavit that a pass purchaser didn’t have to file a tax form. 

Plus, these purchasers should opt-out of the Keep Colorado Wild Pass added onto vehicle registrations if they qualify for the Centennial Pass.

The program has already been well received across Colorado, but we want to make sure we are doing everything we can to ensure that all Coloradans have access to our state parks.

Are you eligible for state or federal aid programs?

If so, you can apply for a $14 Centennial State Park Pass and visit Colorado state parks all year long. Grab your family and friends and live life outside. Use the Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) Park Finder Tool to see a Colorado state parks map. Centennial State Park Pass holders can visit any Colorado state park in the vehicle of their choice with additional passengers in their car. 

To apply, visit your local CPW office or state park and submit an application and supporting documentation. Learn more at: cpw.info/centennial or contact Colorado Parks and Wildlife at 303-297-1192 (8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Mon. through Fri.). 

Colorado residents who qualify for the Centennial State Park Pass should opt out of the $29 Keep Colorado Wild Pass​ included with the state vehicle registration through the DMV. Learn more at: cpw.info/keepcoloradowild or cpw.info/keepcoloradowildpassspanish
