Connect and Share: Library User Loneliness
Recent studies have shown that between 50-70% of individuals feel at least a little bit lonely.  In this conversation, we'll discuss how you and your library can be strong advocates for user well-being. Leading the conversation is Alejandro Marquez (he/him), is a Science and Engineering Librarian at University of Denver Libraries who wrote the article: The Epidemic of Loneliness: The Library User Health Crisis. https://creativelibrarypractice.org/2024/08/13/loneliness/.  This session will also include plenty of conversation about how to address loneliness and how you can create an environment where individuals feel like they can connect and grow.

Join the meeting via Zoom.
