Adopt a Librarian is a program to send CAL members to events when they might not be able to attend otherwise due to monetary hardships. Donations may also be made to assist with dues renewal for members.

Registration Opens March 5
The Colorado Association of Libraries (CAL) Annual Conference is Colorado’s premier event for library staff from libraries of all types throughout the state. Attendees learn from one another and hear from current experts in trending fields. Additionally, participants can meet with vendors to check out their latest products and services and attend networking events to create new contacts and strengthen relationships.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellation requests must be submitted to [email protected]. Full refunds minus 10% of the registration cost available through August 4, 2025. From August 5-31, 2025, 50% refunds offered. Cancellations after August 31, 2025, are not eligible for a refund. CALCON attendee registrations may be transferred to another member from your organization for the same type of qualifying ticket only at any time without fees.

Scholarship Information
Scholarships: Short on funds? Don’t let that keep you from CALCON 2025! Through donations from our generous sponsors, exhibitors, librarians across the state, and the Colorado Library Education Foundation, scholarships are now available for both CAL members and nonmembers. Applications will be accepted through midnight on July 15, 2025. New this year, scholarship recipients must volunteer for 4 hours. Awarded recipients will be notified by August 1, 2025, and volunteer hours will be assigned after.
