Purpose
The Writing Interest Group (WIG) provides CAL members peer-support regarding the professional writing process.
Context
The Writing Interest Group (WIG) creates a space where people can come together to support each other through the professional writing process. It is open to those who have published, and it is open to those who have not published though are interested in writing professionally or engaging with others in the writing process. WIG Objectives

Create an online community where members may share advice, strategies, and resources with one another.

Create a space in which members may find writing partners, mentors, and peer support for their writing endeavors.

Provide educational opportunities though speakers and conference activities.
